Blue eyed hermit

This hermit crab is one of the most popular reef inhabitants. Large enough to make a real dent in the cleaning but small enough to not bulldoze all other CUC. Although, I would recommend being wary of snails such as nassarius or babylonia as this is the shell type they prefer to take. 

A real characterful creature with lots of splashes of vivid colour. Remember to supplement their diet with extra foods either processed dry or frozen as they can opportunistic feeders when it comes to smaller critters. It is generally safe with most reef inhabitants and fish. Would not recommend keeping these hermits with LPS coral.
