Regal damsel

A stunning little marine fish, With a very bold disposition, hardy, active and playful.

Although these fish are striking and attractive, try to hold off from adding any until you are very happy with your stocking levels as these fish develop a very territorial tendency towards new and existing additions over time. It is not recommended that they are housed alongside timid species such as dartfish and small gobies. Also be very wary if adding them to a nano aquarium as these little fish have a big attitude when it comes to territory sometimes chasing any fish out of a large area of the aquarium that they call home.

Don't let this put you off this brilliant little fish especially if you have a highly active tank with dominant fish such as tangs and angels. Keep this beautiful little fish in singles or pairs as even small groups can break off into pairs and cause fights amongst themselves. These fish are generally reef safe only pushing critters off of their preferred rocks.
