Meet your new favorite cleaning crew - the Emerald Crab Female Clean Up Crew!

These lively ladies will keep your tank free of algae and debris, making it a beautiful and healthy environment for your aquatic friends.

We highly recommend these beautiful little crabs with most reefs. There is only some caution we have found and that is with some zoa species and goniopora. They are more likely to be caught pulling and feasting on algae that grow on unhealthy coral and therefore prevent the coral from turning bad anyway. With a reputation to dispel I can honestly say they are one of my favourite CUC in my own coral trays here at the shop, Goniopora included!!!

So give these lovely little ladies a chance to prove themselves. Will happily tuck into most alages including bubble algae!!! If you develop a rather clean aquarium after purchasing them. Ensure you supplement their diet with pellets or nori to sate their appetites.

Please reach out to us if you are interested in a male emerald crab. These fellows come with a lot more warnings and risks but have a dab hand at getting rid or vermatid snails. Happy reefing!!! It certainly would be a lot happier with a team of female emerald crabs.
