Cobalt Blue cherry shrimp

A beautiful freshwater shrimp suitable for most mature aquariums with a higher PH and very small fish or even no fish systems.

Shrimp love to scavenge and will pick over most natural aquarium growth including algaes and biofilm which is why they need a mature aquarium. It is essential to supplement their diet with pellets and other foodstuffs which are suitable for these tiny shrimp. It can be a difficult balance to achieve the right amounts as not enough to too much will result in poor survival. If the shrimp are shedding regularly and the aquarium is well maintained you may even find these shrimp will breed readily. 

Shrimp love a well planted aquarium just beware of some plants having been treated with pesticides particularly bunched plants. Live plants provide natural hiding spaces for shrimp from tankmates. A small group of shrimp is ideal not only for ease of viewing but to help with clean up tasks within their aquarium.
